NBSC participates in WSAP Annual National Conference 2022

Manolo Fortich Bukidnon – The Northern Bukidnon State College (NBSC)—College of Computer Studies (CCS)—held the IT Mentoring & Forum 2022 featuring GIYA last November 10–11, 2022, with the theme, “Guiding students towards success.”

The program’s main objective was to put the institution’s mentorship program into action, especially at the College of Computer Studies. The students from the CCS Program participated in the various activities prepared by the faculty of the department.

 A short parade around the NBSC campus kicked-off the event. This was followed by demonstration chants per year level – First year: Black Panthers, second year: Yellow Kitty, third year: Green Ninja Tortoise, and fourth year: Blue Dragons. The mentoring sessions, E-sports, PC Showcase, Geeks Wars, and Laro ng Lahi were among the highlights during the first day of the event.

The second day began with a Zumba session. The talent expo came after, which showcased the abilities of the CCS faculty and students in singing, dancing, and playing instruments. As the mentors and mentees exhibited their artistic skills through the cosplay event, the afternoon was filled with real-life representations of popular anime and film characters. 

The two-day event concluded with the awarding of winners and restoration of the event area.
